Q. What credit score do I need for an American Express Platinum card?
A. Unfortunately you have to contact American Express directly to find out what their score requirements are. FICO is the most common score, but there are others such as the Vantage Score and the CreditXpert Score. American Express may also tell you what credit score range is necessary as well as the other factors their underwriting department requires to get their credit card.
Q. How can I obtain just my credit score?
A. Your credit score is based on your credit report, and we cannot obtain it without getting your credit report.
